The city of Florence is eagerly preparing to welcome the third edition of Fiorino Mud, one of the most anticipated events of the year for gravel cycling enthusiasts.
This year, Fiorino Mud is undergoing a makeover with a new format, offering cycling enthusiasts two incredible challenges: the 400 km ride from Florence to Punta Ala and back for a bikepacking adventure through the beautiful Tuscany, and the 100 km route through the magnificent loop from Florence to Valdarno with a return to the Renaissance capital through the heart of Chianti.
Fiorino Mud, which earned its reputation as a challenging and rewarding cycling adventure in its earlier editions, has expanded its horizons in this edition by offering two unique challenges in one thrilling weekend. The event will start and finish at the Hu Camping in Town Florence, an important location that provides its facilities as the base for the entire event. This new format will provide participants with an unprecedented cycling experience in one of Italy’s most beautiful regions.

September 23, 2023: Departure of the 400 km ride from Florence, with a turning point in Punta Ala at the beautiful PuntAla Camp & Resort. This offers the heroes of the day the opportunity to rest and recharge for this epic adventure, returning to Florence through a breathtaking route that takes participants through the Tuscan hills, white roads, and extraordinary natural beauty.
September 24, 2023: The 100 km route, a beautiful loop from Florence to Valdarno with a return through Chianti, offers a shorter but equally fascinating challenge for cyclists of all levels. Andrea Pusateri, known for his numerous successes in paracycling, will also be participating in this distance.
Fiorino Mud is the perfect opportunity to test yourself, discover extraordinary landscapes, and share your passion for gravel cycling with other enthusiastic athletes. That’s why the Fiorino Mud organization has worked hard in recent months to ensure the safety of the routes for both events. Additionally, the collaboration with the Trek Store in Florence is of great importance, as it provides gravel and MTB bike rentals, allowing even those who have never tried these disciplines to explore the adventurous side of gravel cycling.
