Welcome to Florence! We are delighted to welcome you to this splendid city rich in history, art, and culture. Florence, located in the heart of Tuscany, is considered one of Italy’s gems and one of the most fascinating cities in the world.
Florence is renowned for its extraordinary artistic and architectural heritage, with masterpieces by artists such as Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, and Botticelli. The city’s most iconic symbol is the Duomo of Santa Maria del Fiore, with its impressive dome designed by Brunelleschi.
As you stroll through the streets of Florence, you can admire the medieval and Renaissance atmosphere that permeates the entire city. The historic center has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is dotted with magnificent squares, such as Piazza della Signoria, where you can admire Michelangelo’s famous statue of David.
You can immerse yourself in the charm of Florence by walking along the banks of the Arno River. Don’t forget to savor the delicious Tuscan cuisine during your stay in Florence. You can taste traditional dishes such as bistecca alla fiorentina (Florentine steak), ribollita (a vegetable soup), and schiacciata (a typical bread).
We wish you a wonderful stay in Florence and Tuscany.
Fiorino Mud is a bicycle experience that offers logistical coordination along with a carefully selected, studied, and tested GPS track. Participants must have the track available on their devices, and a monitoring service is provided through the web. The operational details will be communicated via email and in the pre-race briefing.
During Fiorino Mud, participants must cover the entire provided track and adhere to the traffic rules. Trails, roads, and urban areas are open to traffic.
Fiorino Mud is not a cycling race or competition, but a completion order based on the time taken is provided to allow participants to test their abilities and compare them with previous editions.
On September 22, a briefing will be held to explain the most important aspects of the adventure, and athletes will be welcomed at the Hu Firenze Camping facility with a welcome aperitif.
The bike experience is not subject to federal sports regulations, and sports affiliation is not required. However, compliance with the indicated medical certification provisions is necessary.
