Fiorino Mud 2026: follow the race live with TrailCore Radar

Thanks to TrailCore Radar, the live GPS tracking platform will be visible in real time on a map, from any smartphone or computer, wherever you are.

This year, Fiorino Mud can be followed from outside the saddle too. Thanks to TrailCore Radar, the live GPS tracking platform chosen by the race organization, every kilometre covered by the riders, from the start in Florence through the Maremma and back, will be visible in real time on a map, from any smartphone or computer, wherever you are.

Whether you’re on the start line with a race number or cheering from home, here’s everything you need to know to follow every kilometre of Tuscany’s most extreme 400 km.

Why live tracking

The Fiorino Mud 400 crosses some of Tuscany’s wildest and least connected areas: from the Chianti hills to the Val di Cecina, from the hills around Volterra all the way to the Maremma coast. Knowing where a rider is, how they’re progressing along the route, and whether they need assistance matters both to the organization and to the people waiting anxiously back home. TrailCore Radar was built exactly for this: a lightweight tracking system designed for ultra-endurance events, built to keep working even where mobile coverage is unreliable.

For athletes: the tracker in your pocket

Every registered rider will receive a unique race code from the organization, to be entered into the TrailCore Radar app to activate tracking. No account is required — just a name and phone number, stored only on the device. Once started, tracking keeps running in the background, even with the screen off, so it doesn’t drain the battery during the long hours of racing.

Riders can share their live tracking link with family and friends, so they can be followed step by step along the entire route. In case of real need, the app also includes an SOS button that immediately sends the rider’s precise position to the organization’s staff — an extra layer of safety on a demanding course like Fiorino Mud’s.

The app will be available for free on the App Store and Google Play in the days before the race; the race code will be sent by email to all registered riders along with their race pack.

For spectators: no app, just a link

Following the race from outside doesn’t require installing anything. Simply open radar.trailcore.app in a browser, on phone or computer, enter the race code provided by the organization, and access the live map: every rider’s real-time position, the official GPX track overlaid on the route, speed, and the time of the last update.

It’s the simplest way for parents, partners and friends to follow their riders’ adventure along Tuscany’s gravel roads, from the first kilometre all the way to the finish line in Florence.

In short

  • Athletes: download the TrailCore Radar app, enter the race code provided by the organization, and start tracking before the start.
  • Spectators: open radar.trailcore.app in any browser and enter the same race code to follow the live map, no installation needed.
  • Safety: a built-in SOS button provides a direct line to race staff in case of emergency.

See you on September 26–27, 2026, between Florence and PuntAla, for a 400 km adventure that this year can also be followed and experienced from afar.
