In 2026, the Fiorino Mud will take place on the weekend of September 26th and 27th at the Società Canottieri Firenze, located in Firenze.

Fiorino Mud 400 km: This year, the format has confirm, a two-stage supported adventure. The first stage will be on September 26th from Firenze to Puntala, and the second will be on September 27th from Puntala to Firenze. We’ll deliver your luggage (maximum dimensions L – W – L: 50cm x 30cm x 40cm) to Maremma in numbered bags for the first 100 registrants. You’ll have access to these bags upon arrival at the finish line of the first stage, so you can pedal lightly and focus only on having fun.

The most suitable bicycle is the GRAVEL bike, but you can also use MTB, CYCLOCROSS, or E-BIKE. If you don’t own one of these models, you can rent one at the TREK STORE in Florence or to CICLI TADDEI in Santa Croce sull’Arno or to Village Bike by Tommasini, so you can also participate in the Fiorino Mud.

At the start, a check will be performed on the equipment that each biker must carry with them. Failure to comply will result in exclusion from the monitoring lists and denial of provided services.

11. Cash (in some small areas there are no ATMs)

The two-stage format is confirmed. Stage 1 starts at 7:00 a.m. on September 26th from the Società Canottieri Firenze and arrives at the Puntala Camp & Resort.

For all participants, it is MANDATORY to present a medical certificate suitable for cycling practice, in accordance with DM 18/02/1982 and/or DM 26/04/2013, issued by a Sports Medical Center or a qualified doctor, upload during registration. The medical certificate must be valid until after the end of the event. If the medical certificate does not comply, it will be rejected and canceled, and the registrant will need to provide a compliant one. The medical certificate must be specific for CYCLING. We cannot accept medical certificates issued for other sports disciplines such as triathlon, athletics, etc. Those who do not comply with this requirement will not be considered officially registered and will not be entitled to a refund of the registration fee.

ATHLETES COMING FROM FOREIGN COUNTRIES
THE ATHLETE COMING FROM FOREIGN COUNTRIES MUST BRING A COPY OF THE SPORTS MEDICAL CERTIFICATION IN FORCE IN HIS OWN COUNTRY OR LOCAL FEDERATION CARD OR ALTERNATIVELY COMPLETE THE HEALTH CERTIFICATE. DOWNLOAD IT HERE

The registration fee is €45. Athletes can register for the Fiorino Mud event as a group, taking advantage of special group discounts. Those registering as a group of five athletes receive one free registration fee (i.e., €180 for five participants, €36 per person). Those registering as a group of ten athletes receive two free registration fees (i.e., €360 for ten participants).

If this occurs due to force majeure causes not attributable to the organization, the amount paid at the time of registration will NOT be refunded and will NOT be credited towards the next edition.

It takes place on Friday late afternoon, in one of the spaces provided by Società Canottieri Firenze. You can find the details in the REGULATIONS.

Upon arrival at the first stage in Maremma, you’ll be welcomed at PuntAla Camp & Resort, where you can relax by the sea, eat, and sleep.
At PuntAla Camp & Resort, you’ll be greeted by:

If you’d like to book a tent pitch or bungalow at the resort, you’re welcome to do so. Your overnight stay must take place within the PuntAla Camp & Resort.
